I’m a Malaysian Business Development Consultant, Travel Writer, and Digital Nomad Advisor working at the intersection of travel, mobility, and decision-making.
My work spans three connected areas: Business Development consulting, Travel Writing, and Digital Nomad Advisory. Each serves a different purpose, for different people, at different moments.
Since 20107, I’ve built a career rooted in cross-market growth, and cultural connection, and remote work. I began in communications and client relations, managing projects across Asia and the Middle East, before joining a multinational organisation where I led regional initiatives in business development, partnerships, and market expansion.
These experiences shaped the foundation of my work across tourism, hospitality, and investment-linked sectors, where I combine strategic growth, partnership building, and a human-centred understanding of mobility.

Through AQ Creative Services, I work with travel and hospitality companies, tourism authorities, and remote-first ecosystems on business development and strategic partnerships.
My work focuses on partnership strategy, market entry and regional expansion across Asia and the Middle East, and aligning stakeholders across public and private sectors to support sustainable growth. This work is project-based, selective, and grounded in long-term strategy rather than short-term tactics.

Nomadic Arabs (الرحالة الرقميين العرب) is a platform I founded to support Arabic-speaking professionals pursuing a sustainable, location-independent lifestyle. The platform offers practical resources, real-world perspectives, and tools for people navigating remote work, mobility, and long-term travel.

Between Places is a private advisory practice for people rethinking where and how they live while working remotely.
My aim is to support individuals who are considering a digital nomad life, already living without a fixed base, or navigating a transition and unsure about what comes next. The focus is on practical decision-making, trade-offs, and fit, rather than motivation or lifestyle promotion. The work is one-to-one, conversational, and grounded in lived experience.

I write travel essays and long-form reflections grounded in lived experience rather than itineraries or trends.
My work explores movement, place, and the quieter realities of living and working across borders, with a focus on long-stay travel, identity, and decision-making. This perspective is shaped by years of living and working across different regions. This body of work lives across my blog (in Arabic) and Postcards in Transit, a weekly newsletter of short, reflective letters from the road. While the formats differ, they are part of the same writing practice and share the same voice and intent.
