Hi, I’m ASMA QADAH—a Malaysian travel blogger, digital nomad, and content creator with a passion for exploring the world and inspiring others to do the same. Since 2017, I’ve been living the digital nomad lifestyle, combining my love for travel with remote work. Over the years, I’ve journeyed to more than 40 and countless cities, islands, and villages, immersing myself in the beauty and diversity of our planet.

Growing up in Saudi, I always dreamed of a life that combined adventure and meaningful work. After spending over a decade working in Tourism and Business Development, I made a life-changing decision in 2017 to step away from the traditional office and embrace the freedom of a digital nomad lifestyle.

Since then, I’ve traveled across Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Africa and Europe, experiencing the world in ways I’d only imagined. Whether it’s exploring local markets, hiking remote trails, or swimming with turtles in coral reefs, every journey adds to the story I’m writing—not just for myself, but for my readers and collaborators.

Life as a Digital Nomad

Being a digital nomad is about more than just traveling—it’s about creating a sustainable lifestyle that allows me to work and explore simultaneously. My work as a Business Developer allowed me to pursue my hobby, a travel blogger and content creator which lets me turn my passion into a career, sharing destination guides, travel tips, and inspiring stories with an ever-growing audience.

I believe in traveling with intention and authenticity. Whether working from a cozy café in Chiang Mai or planning my next adventure, I strive to immerse myself in the local culture and capture its essence through my writing. This lifestyle is about balance: embracing freedom while maintaining focus and productivity.

Why I Travel

For me, travel is about more than just seeing new places—it’s about immersing myself in different cultures, learning their stories, and experiencing the world through new perspectives. I believe in traveling like a local, whether it’s by using public transportation, trying authentic street food, or staying in family-run accommodations.

Every journey teaches me something new and leaves a lasting impression. My ultimate goal isn’t just to visit every country I can—it’s to build connections, create memories, and inspire others to pursue their own adventures.

• Content Creation: Writing engaging travel content and lifestyle pieces that inspire and inform. Whether it’s a detailed destination guide or a social media campaign, I love crafting stories that connect with people.
• Business Development: With over 12 years of experience in sectors such as banking, diplomacy, and business setup, I specialize in helping organizations identify opportunities, build partnerships, and develop strategies for sustainable growth.
• Travel Advisory: I help others create unforgettable travel experiences by offering personalized itineraries and advice. My goal is to introduce people to both iconic landmarks and hidden gems that often go overlooked.

I started my first blog in September 2007 as “asmaworld.com“, a journal. It was time to re-brand in early 2016 to Asma’s Blog as it became a Travel and Lifestyle blog. Focuses on getting the best out of a destination for budget and time-poor travelers. Asma’s blog was created to inspire travelers to experience each goal as it is rather than the typical tourist destinations. I show my readers where to save and where to splurge to ensure they have the most amazing travel experiences through informative destination guides and travel tips. Asma’s blog made it one of the most active Arabic Travel blogs with intensive and hard work. It became a travel resource for Arab travelers, with readers and followers spreading across 5 continents.
